There is something about the square format that really challanges us, in the end we arrive at a different way of "seeing" our world. No longer limited to long and thin, like the 35mm format, but now fuller and bolder in presentation. Here you have all the qualitys of a fine painting, drawing you closer, and makes the viwer want to enter the frame, for a more intimate look. This then is ART ! Goose Bumps my friend, so glad to know you ! *R*

I'm confused!!! (not that it's hard to do) It looks like you have shadows going away from you and coming at you. Some trees are light on one side and others dark on the same side. I need more details I guess.

The shadows look right to me assuming the bases of the trees are hidden by the rise in the ground. Three trees, three shadows. Nice picture!

I enjoy the shadow play as well. I have to interate also to Roger Keagle that although he may like square negatives this is not a square picture. It is also digitized and manipulated. ....;)...J

Thanks for your critiques, image indeed is not square, cropped off little from the trees on both sides, otherwise not manipulated other then 'normal' things.
