Too much empty space above the subject that does not contribute to the image. Crop it out.

The ornate building in the background is too dark; so that it isn't really a building, but rather a field of distracting intrusions that don't really pull together. And it's crooked, and the top pof the arch/door is cut off.

very good attempt. generally speaking, i like what you tried to do. but the fact that there seems to be a tilt to the building and the top of the doorway is cutoff distracts. furthermore, your subject is perhaps to intricate to be so small. try cropping, leaving her on the left but making her more the "center". (all just my opinion.) good job
