Shy does not have to translate into an unattractive image. Try photographing a more cooperative subject, slow down your shutter to increase ambient light and not make it look so "flashed". You have a good camera if you make it work for you.

next time check the background, very important when your taking portraits.

Pose is very unattractive, she looks possessed. Background is also terrible, as pointed out above.

 

If you're going to post something for critique, it might be more worthy of critiquing if you put some effort into it next time. This isn't a place for snapshots. Think more, do more, and you'll get more out of it.
