Apart from have a film camera on hand?

 

Unfortunately I don't think the original has the resolution to play

with much cropping, and I feel as if it needs quite a bit of context

anyway.

 

I'd love to hear some opinions...

It's very appealing. I admire your success on exposure controls, I think I would have struggled to get it even in all areas. I like the compostional arrangement too. Well done.

The blue shadow color is beautiful. Clever subject. I agree about the context--the balance is just right.

I like the subject and the composition. This is a very dynamic shot - I can feel myself slipping and sliding toward the light. Will I make the corner...? Very nicely done.

very spectacular shot, but I do find one 'flaw' if nothing at all. I gind myself being drawn towards the 'void' above the light. Looking for something int he background rather then the subject itself. Maybe a little off the top will bring your viewers back to the light.
