I'm sorry that i'didnt give you any comment.Well the picture is ordinary, contrast is high so the detail in shadow and high light is lost.If you look my rate in all the photo that i critique, you understant that i give very few times better than 4,that hapen because i think the people hear give very easy 5,6,7 without careful critique.I see a lot of picture that have nothing to tell in thematology and represent only in good tonality or sharpness or good post proggesing, that picture is the reflex of the good technical knowledge,but the photography is not only technical approach, need also personality with something new to offer.I'm tired to look the same copyist style from ansel adams, bresson or wat ever, i want to see something new and when i so i put 5-7.I am here to watch the progrees in photography and i want toughness critique for all, because that keep us vigilance.By the way, for my pictures i don't believe they deserve something better than 2-4 and few of them 5-6.

Alekos has made a valid point about the style. I think that the soul of photograph is the photographer and the photographer's approach. Just as the technical aspects are important, the soul is as - or more important. And the participants in this system overall tend to overrate. However, that just means that the average does pass from somewhere higher than 4.

 

As for Maria's photograph, I believe in general it reflects her sincere, warm and inquisitive personality. Technically, contrast has pinned down the texture, juxtaposition of flowers is nice but one's focus is unguided. I believe that shots like these are like opening salvos, if the photographer pursues the subject further then better photographs come up.
