Clearcut, State Lands, Near Chinook

Comments, ratings appreciated on logging shot. I live in an area of

intense logging on state and federal forest land and have started to

document recent clearcuts.

Robert, you can even make a clear cut look good. Shame on you.

composition wise I would prefer the stump more on the right with just a bit more distance between the standing trees but realize that might involve some earth moving.

Thanks, Knicki, for your comment. I hate logging. While I know that this is irrational, since I use more than my share of paper and live in a wooden house (it's 100 years old, but still). I hate clear cuts on state and federal forest land. I don't understand why we (the alleged public) sell timber to logging companies at a loss.

I'm planning to shoot clearcuts for a while--this was just day one. I agree with your comment on the composition.
