robertbrown 1 Posted February 25, 2004 Comments, ratings appreciated on logging shot. I live in an area of intense logging on state and federal forest land and have started to document recent clearcuts. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted February 25, 2004 Robert, you can even make a clear cut look good. Shame on you. composition wise I would prefer the stump more on the right with just a bit more distance between the standing trees but realize that might involve some earth moving. Link to comment
robertbrown 1 Posted February 25, 2004 Thanks, Knicki, for your comment. I hate logging. While I know that this is irrational, since I use more than my share of paper and live in a wooden house (it's 100 years old, but still). I hate clear cuts on state and federal forest land. I don't understand why we (the alleged public) sell timber to logging companies at a loss. I'm planning to shoot clearcuts for a while--this was just day one. I agree with your comment on the composition. Link to comment
