tony georgiadis 0 Posted February 23, 2004 superb light, nicely framed, pleasing tones of gray,i would raise a little her head my opinion is that if i wanna have a good look at her face and expression i have to lean my head too.if her eyes where at a 45 angle...then again that's my pesonal opinion. Good job, well done. Link to comment
bijan_zade 0 Posted February 24, 2004 Instantly caught my eye. I wouldn't change a thing. Great shot. By the way, was this shot during the winter (Wreck Beach is cold this time of year - brave model!) Link to comment
artofheadshots 0 Posted February 24, 2004 Hi Bijan, thanks for realizing that it is winter, right now. I was shooting some slides for a competition - when I was done with the slides, I pulled my digital and shot a few with the 10d. To my surprise the beach was half full of people and it wasn't as cold. Link to comment
the the 0 Posted February 25, 2004 The only major fault I see in this image is the crooked horizon. Other than that I like it very much. Link to comment
armindo_lopes 1 Posted February 25, 2004 Beautiful tones and quite good sharpness. Only the horizon line is tilting to the right. Link to comment
artofheadshots 0 Posted February 25, 2004 I am surprised at myself for having released this photograph with a tilted horizon. That lesson should have been learned many photographs ago... I guess that is why I love this site - to learn, grow and become the best I can possibly be. I have even made some friends in this site - never met them, might never meet... But already have a good idea of their demeanour and nature of personality. I appreciate the creativity, passion and ability to see the world in a sensitive manner, of Jim Vanson, Baldur Birgis and Laura Napolitano. Sincerely Yours, Ringo Link to comment
thomas_collins1 0 Posted February 25, 2004 Well I for one am more interested in the tilt of the model's head, which is just great. A nice softly lit, warm image. Good job! Link to comment
thorgal31 0 Posted February 26, 2004 I just can't stop looking at it. It's hypnotic to me, the model attitude and glance, very sweet atmosphere ... Very good ! Link to comment
seanjoyce 0 Posted May 2, 2005 I like this one a lot - the b&W and the framing are great. Ditto on the comment from someone else on the tilted horizon. The small pic doesn't do it justice - must be viewed larger. Great work! Link to comment
atkphotoworks 0 Posted July 27, 2005 Ringo - I like the tone and angle, better so than the one that follows. Link to comment
