Moonset and sunset at Coal Oil point

I would like to hear people's comments on this. Does the composition

work or is it too bare and stark? There is a

which has a more complex composition, but has other

associated problems too.

You have done well with this photo. I have seen that particular plant in the morning, and IMO it's not a visually pleasing subject matter. However, you have used it effectively in this context. Well done.

I prefer this photo over the other photo with the two agave stalks. That said, I'd like to see the agave more prominently featured in the photo and not on the edge. The crescent moon is a nice touch.

I like this one better. I get a sense of isolation from it.

Great original graphics. Like the originality of this.
