Lesterhazy !

Pls critique, I just started doing both black & white and portraits.

The lighting on the guitarist seems to have worked out well

considering how hard it was to get good light while the band played.

This looks to me like a very competent and mood catching image of the guitarist; the light falls well on him. The composition is good if not particularly original, more "classical" than "pop". Good work. (7/4)

Great photo with great usage of light. There is only one thing tha distracts me. There is no single part of the picture that is in focus. I know thas considerig the conditions in which the photo was taken, good focus is hard to achieve.

 

Overall great picture.

Very good exposure and well composed. The guitar in the vertical position provides a dynamic element to the photo that contrasts well with the sober and concentrated look of the guitarist, creating a sort of tension that draws you in.
