Taking photos with my father at sunset. I was especially intrigued

by the setting sun in the midst of the stormy clouds. I'm new to

photography...any suggestions/comments will be welcome.

Great Job! You have your fathers talent. Keep shoting because every photo you take will be a lasting memory of your life, where you've been and what you were doing at that one moment in time. Linda

admirable composition! I love the colors and textures in the sky. I wish the image was just a bit sharper overall and slightly tighter crop around the tree might (mainly in the edges) produce a cleaner scene. Finally I would like to add that in my humble opinion the strongest aspect of the composition is the subtle use of off center placement.. most people would tend to put push the tree to a third of the frame.. but instead in this picture the sun is placed offcenter giving the tree into a powerful sileuette bathing in light :).. finally I hate the title.. too 'yuppy' cheapens the work. Can't think of a replacement offhand.

I like the title and the mood of this photograph. The sky is fantastic with the blue sky shining through. Simple and very powerful.

Roshni, thanks on commenting on my photo. I am happy, my photo fills you with joy. I invite you to see my Fall Rapsody folder or Bohemian Summer folder. Let me know how you feel about that.
