Is this a nice portrait?

I thought this picture was very interesting. I thought you could totally capture the relationship the mother and daughter had in this photo. The lighting and creativity are great. And the quality of the picture is very good as well. All around I would say this is beautiful work.

I love this picture. I have a similar moment like this captured with my wife and daughter.

 

This picture captured a tender moment between the mom and daughter. This image immediately evoked a sense of loving and caring for my own daughter. The playful innocence of the daughter is beautifully captured in this image.

 

I would change two things though. Tighten the composition so that more focus is on the mother and daughter. Also use less depth of field so the cars in the background are so noticeable. The distracted me for a moment.

There's real warmth and humanity in this shot. Life is good - thanks for that reminder.

.. just a bit on the left, to eliminate the step. otherwise, it's really a nice shot!
