gorebug 0 Posted January 31, 2004 Crop ruthlessly. If an element is not adding to your images strength then remove it. The person in the background distracts from what would otherwise be a pleasant image. I would also crop a bit on the right to get rid of that greyish object that runs down the side. Also, focus is too soft on the face other than the ears (and a part under the chin), and the image is posted too large. Many photographers prefer to set focus on the eyes. Also, a smaller aperture would let you get more of the face in focus (a soft body and background would have been alright). JMHO. Link to comment
