Would have been better I think if the logo was upright. Also, the grass covering the rim is distracting.

And some of my other pictures from this event made it onto the PCA national website as picture of the month and featured wallpapers. I just assumed it would classify as a "news" type image.

Paul, if you'd stated it was event coverage for a local paper in the first place then maybe I could understand why it's here.

Though I'd still say it should be in the events category, but then maybe that's a matter of opinion.
