single photos Caravan

an outstanding image, maybe, but not an extra-ordinary photo, without the top half cropped off. Look how the main subject jumps out at you when u lose the big black shadow and the bright highlights in the the top half of the photo..Now it is a rare, but ordinary shot of camels crossing a desert..Y do u consider it outstanding, Armindo?

Great shot....without the travelers, how would u have illustrated the expanse of the desert...and without the desert, how would you have shown the hardship the travellers is going to go through...Congrats for the nice composition

This is such a beautiful, striking image. The only discordant note for me is the crop at the top - my preference is to crop a fraction more until just above the top left dune. Everything else is perfect.

Light and shadows are everything in this shot, which I like a lot. Still, the shadows on the far left suggest there is much more to the caravan, and it bothers me a bit not to have the subjects of that shadows also in the picture...

I have seen quite a few of these types of images here on PN, BUT this is one of the nicest! The sand almost looks like silk. 7/6
