This is a "Kantong Semar" plant *trying to look up the Latin name =P*They look cute as if they were conversating n shaking hand.. or tendrils? =P

Anybody would teach me how to darken the background using flash technique? I feel that the background is very distracting..

Background too disturbing. An f2 or f1.4 would have been ideal, and then too, that leaf on the top right should be out of the way. Side lighting, evening, would have give some contrasty shadows too.
