owen_omeara 1 Posted January 21, 2004 Pedro: Great portrait. I agree with the previous comment on the skin tones. Well done in every way. -Owen Link to comment

pnital 36 Posted January 21, 2004 Pedro, as usual, your portraits are very well done, but I think that her face are too close to the frame, I wish that she was a little more to the right hand side ( it is my taste, and you can of course think differently.) Thanks for your comment on my last upload. I have answered the comment before yours....... Pnina Evental Link to comment
jeff d 1 Posted January 22, 2004 I really enjoy this one. You keep getting better and better in your portrait work. I agree that there should be more room to her left... she appears to be rubbing her nose on the frame. Still a splendid image. Link to comment
brendan_turner1 0 Posted January 22, 2004 Love the expression of this shot, the lighting really adds to the mood of it. I like the hard, open head you used, but it shows off the texture of the models skin a bit much, esp on her cheek. I've heard of people using a bit of rice paper or other lightly diffuse material on a gobo arm (or an assistant's arm) at varying distances from the strobe head. Alternately a small (emphaisis SMALL) softbox might work too. Keep up the good work.. Link to comment
olga_valcov 0 Posted January 22, 2004 I love it, I can't get this kind of skin tones, what's the secret? Link to comment
alberto.conde 0 Posted January 23, 2004 I love the portrait, Pedro and its tones. Very well achieved and beautiful expression of her eyes. I won't, however, give it a couple of 7's due to the harsh shadow of her neck and because I would have liked a bit more air on the left. I feel like her stare can't get thru the frame...En todo caso es una foto preciosa y mi comentario simplemente busca dar otra opinión y con ánimo de ayudar. :-) Link to comment
james_oneill 0 Posted February 10, 2004 I prefer this crop to the other version I just scored. It's got all the same good things going for it. But sometimes I like the attitude of "You can see she has no clothes, but I not need to put the breasts in the frame". I like it here. Link to comment
