Waiting (III)

Canon D30, Steinheil 105mm f4.5 short mount bellows lens on a bellows and a set of extension tubes, lighted with 380EX flash. Aperture was at f16. The whole setup was on a Velbon Macro Slider which itself was on a tripod.

This spider is about 1/3 the size of the spider in "Waiting (I)"

and "Waiting (II)" from last fall, both in the same album. This one

started showing up about a month and a half ago, very tiny in size.

Its current size is about 14mm with legs expanded as shown.

Intersting enough it seems this one has a different sex than the one

from last year...

 

A net friend of mine named him "Sandy" after his sister's name and

for his color. I would really appreciate if you would rate it and/or

comment on it. Thanks.

Hey spider lover! It's a lovely detailed shot & and those 'sandy' colours are good. However I think it could look better if you had zoomed out just a tad enough to include the tips of his legs, or maybe gone for a portrait shot. Nice one though.
