uhshopeonuhrope 0 Posted January 19, 2004 i like it! not your typical pet shot could use a diffent title though, and a border or somthing, maybe enhance the color even a lil more on PS. good work Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted January 19, 2004 It has a border, Christian, albeit a very thin one, which I prefer so as not to be distracting. As for color, I took color AWAY from the background and Tess's color is pretty much the way she looks. The title was given because I took the shot today, Sunday, and Tess was just hanging around doing nothing much, same as me. Thanks for stopping and commenting. Link to comment
nichols 0 Posted January 20, 2004 You can never take too many dog pictures....:) And this one is a dandy! Good dof! Lovely canine! Link to comment
hanna_cowpe 0 Posted January 20, 2004 Kim, you've stirred fond memories of my yellow Lab called Tess - now long gone to the great doggy heaven. She used to get that look and made me wonder what she was thinking. It's a beautiful and sensitive capture; the catchlight in her eye and the glint of her nose are perfect touches. It's certainly one of the best canine portraits I've seen on PN. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted January 21, 2004 Thanks, Chris and Hanna. Tess is a lab/retriever cross and we have her brother, as well, although he's more like a yellow lab. Both are great dogs now that they are older (don't let anyone tell you labs are mellow!). Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted January 24, 2004 Changed background to b&w to focus more attention on the dog's face. Comments? Link to comment
