Angel Hair Pear

This pear is actually a Christmas ornament. I put angel hair around

it and on top of the light source to try and soften and diffuse the

light. This is one of my first ever attempts at taking a 'studio'

(my dining table) or set-up shot. I'm very new to photography, so

all comments and advise welcome. Thanks.

The light in back of the pear really brings out the shillouete. I would prefer more light on the pear to bring more attention to it instead of the angel hair. You might try a $2 floodlight and see how that would change the photo. Nice shot.

Thanks Richard. One of these days I will try the shot again taking your advise about light on the pear.

I like the lighting and all in this but just a soft light on the frount I think would really bring this all together.
