Ya, I agree,.. I think I'll have to check the actual print to see if this was a scanning problem... Otherwise, it's the polarizer which I used badly...

A little more density in the foreground and the clouds and in the shadows will substantiate the dark tone of the sky. I like the sky dark like that. Superb shot. Is that a glacier you are standing on?

This is a very nice picture. But a little more detail on the ice at the bottom would make it spectacular. There are probably a million ways to achieve that in photoshop. Myself I would duplicate the background layer and set the blending mode to multiply. I would use a layer mask to keep it from being applied to the upper portion of the photo. Might copy that same layer mask and use it on a curve or levels layer too. Its just a thought.

Thanks Avi and Larry for your valuable comments. Larry, I'll try that in photoshop and see how the result comes out. I'm not much educated in photoshop so I may just screw up.
