addaon stanford 0 Posted January 20, 2004 Again, I think the sky is just too dark here. Should be blue, not black! Link to comment
simanta 0 Posted January 21, 2004 Ya, I agree,.. I think I'll have to check the actual print to see if this was a scanning problem... Otherwise, it's the polarizer which I used badly... Thanks for the comment. Link to comment
avid 0 Posted March 29, 2005 A little more density in the foreground and the clouds and in the shadows will substantiate the dark tone of the sky. I like the sky dark like that. Superb shot. Is that a glacier you are standing on? Link to comment
mcgarity 0 Posted March 30, 2005 This is a very nice picture. But a little more detail on the ice at the bottom would make it spectacular. There are probably a million ways to achieve that in photoshop. Myself I would duplicate the background layer and set the blending mode to multiply. I would use a layer mask to keep it from being applied to the upper portion of the photo. Might copy that same layer mask and use it on a curve or levels layer too. Its just a thought. simanta 0 Posted April 2, 2005 Thanks Avi and Larry for your valuable comments. Larry, I'll try that in photoshop and see how the result comes out. I'm not much educated in photoshop so I may just screw up. Link to comment
