Dragonfly Perched on bamboo

Hi Everyone,

 

Been a while since I tried taking macro shots and closeups. So

getting back into it now. I couldn't stop down enough for more DOF

with the dragonfly. I had to shoot handheld as the dragonfly was

flying around like crazy.

 

Hoping you guys would be able to give me some feedback and

constructive criticism. All comments are welcome

Gesus... on a Crutch...

 

Someone got tough on ya'... Yeah...well, maybe you need to nail this guy to a board... and shoot it... It's kinda', well..you know... nice try, but no Cupie Doll... (prize). The camera should shoot a tad better than this...

I'd rather not catch it nor do I want to freeze it. I know alot of people like to catch their bugs or spray them but that just goes against my way of photography....

 

I know it's going to be that much more harder to get a nice shot unfortunately.

wOoOOw.... i lyke dis foto ish interesting...o.0 i no ive sed it heaps but i LOUV UR ZOOM!! ish so kool u ghet it in sooo much dertail :)

the wings are a tiny tiny bit blurred but you can see the detail of the insect's wings and the main body of the insect is clear really clear. I like how that twig thing is blurred and how it gradually gets clearer as you get closer to the insect and the background doesn't interfere with the object of interest
