  • "Developed" in Photoshop 7
    • Shot in color
    • Converted to greyscale by adjusting the curves of each RGB channel
    • Dodged and burned using 50% grey overlay

The total image gives a sense of open space, but the eye is drawn to the bright clouds at the center, with enough interesting bits to make the trip worth while. Thanks for including the technical details.

Great Shot(s). I'm curious about 1) where on the rim you were when you took this panorama and 2) THis is the first time I've seen someone add noise to a picture. It'd be interesting to show both w/ and w/o noise.

 

Again, this is a wonderful photograph
