fred_j._lord 0 Posted January 1, 2004 The sound of one of these is amazing! Thousands of geese chattering at once. Link to comment
tony bell 0 Posted January 1, 2004 I know the sound of which you speak. Here in Arkansas it is almost time to go out and kill a few ducks. Nothing like the sound of 250,000 (yes, that many) ducks and snow geese taking flight. Nice color on this. Link to comment
michael_wagner2 0 Posted January 1, 2004 An amazing density of birds. Fabulous twilight capture, Fred. Happy new Year. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 1, 2004 Amazing photo, you've captured a moment which can't be captured anymore. I like the composition and the colors involved. Link to comment
kyang 0 Posted January 1, 2004 Really love the birds against the beautiful sky. Pretty original. Fred, it is nice to know the drought condition in Colorado is getting better in the last 1-2 years. Sorry about my English. Link to comment
1000wordsphotography 0 Posted January 3, 2004 What a "blast" it must have been to be there Fred. Great capture of the beauty Mother Nature has for us. I hope to get to see some of these this winter. They congregate on our eastern shores in mid December. I hope it is not too late! Link to comment
fred_j._lord 0 Posted January 3, 2004 Kurt: Your English is just fine. Much better than I could do with any other language for sure. Regina: It is always fun. Be sure to try and see them this winter in your area. The temperature that morning was around 20°f. It did warm up into the 50s later in the day. Link to comment
