Colours on Steel

Hi guys,

 

This pic was taken during a BASE jump event here in Kuala Lumpur,

Malaysia. This was the most colourful chute around and I managed to

catch it coming down.

You nailed this one! I think the color, composition and 'concept' are dead on. Great image! The only thing that has me wondering though, how did you manage to avoid any "keystoning" type distortion? From the camera angle it appears you shot from, I would have expected to see the building lines all converging at the top of the frame.Your appearance of a totally flat field with this building really makes this image work.

Excellent shot! I know you cannot control where they jump from, and it appears the building top is the platform for the jumps. Nice centering of image, great repetitive pattern and the two tone color of the building makes the chute stand out. Really truly wonderful shot. Just one thing, the chute was easy to focus on, the person was not. The background was so powerful and sharp it was hard for my eyes to adjust and make out the person. That aside very impressive!

but where are your other photos, I never seen before such things. The pic seem very adventurous and it exert influence on me. thanks!
