Great photo! Good color, composition, subject. I like the natural lighting and the shadows aren't much of an issue with me. Excellent.

I knew I wouldn't be disappointed in your folder - presto here's another excellent one (I don't like them all though).

AND you'd like us to be tough - great attitude. OK - the lighting on the boy's face is terrific - anyone who complains of shadows needs their monitor better callibrated - I see everything I want to see and like the way you have used the strong light streaming in through the window and bouncing off the counter top to light up underneath the cap (so excellent use of natural light). The expression is natural, and suitable and the photo tells a good story. It's not your eveyday "cute" kid photo. Now for the critique (that's harder): the interesting part of the photo is all on the right and the fruit bowl is not really that critical to setting the scene so how about a squarer crop or a slight shift in viewpoint to the right (towards the danger of the sink edge just behind this mischievious kid). I'd prefer to see less of the bright counter top, but like the angle going in , so don't crop off the bottom edge. Some crumbs on the counter in front of his feet might be good too - but, was this set up or caught in the act?

Sharpness of those Canon G3's is impressive...

Feel free to have a critical go at any of my photos.
