Wayne Sadler 576 Posted April 3 Though an obvious outsider this Saturday at the corner of 8th and Franklin in Oakland Chinatown, I felt welcomed as I shopped. My pointing, gesturing and asking questions solicited the “music” of diverse Asian languages. Talk of seafood seemed most to bridge the language barrier as I stood outside eateries with the longest lines. Link to comment
