There's a somewhat mysterious  quality in this photo;  the dark  treetrunks make the sunlit part of the image look more attractive, as a goal you're about to achieve. You have managed the contrast very well, even maintaining definition in the shadow. It's a pity I can't see the details with the limited size of the rendered image. I like it a lot. Vincent- thanks again! This is really beautiful, a scene we experience every day on the walk to our barn. Was tricky to get the lights, so the distance lit trees aren't really in great focus when zoomed in  --oh well.
