vincentoiseau 83 Posted September 17, 2022 I think I have written about Castellane in my comments more than once, but for those interested in this southern French town: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castellane . I love the late afternoon / early evening light in these parts. Your comments are very welcome. Link to comment

Giangiorgio Crisponi 498 Posted September 18, 2022 A beautiful well composed photo, which immediately attracts the observer's attention. The warm grazing light has clearly highlighted the roughness of the wall, the window and the long horizontal shadows, ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment

michaellinder 16,613 Posted September 30, 2022 What immediately got my attention were the shadows. The less interesting ones are of the hinges. However, the horizontal shadows remind me of the phrase "identity of opposites." This artistically presented image clearly is the result of years of practice and your skill with a camera. My best always, Vincent - -michael Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted October 1, 2022 Hi Michael, thank you for your interesting comments and your support! The shadows are of course essential to this photo, although your Hegelian notion made me think about what they are; do they exist, if only for a short time, or are they a construct of our minds?
