Umbrellas

Umbrellas - I photographed these umbrellas hanging on the streets of Pula (a small town in southern Sardinia, a tourist destination) at night. Umbrellas are hung to shade the city streets and mitigate the great summer heat. Nikon D500, Nikon 12-24mm at 12mm, f / 4, 1 / 15sec, ISO12.800. Thank you for your comments

I must admit at first I didn't understand too well what I was looking at, besides the fact that these multi-colored umbrellas were the main theme of the image, but reading your introductory notes answered most of the questions in my head. What I find compelling looking at this photo, is the scale; if these umbrellas are normal in size, they cover quite a space and are hung quite high. I like the composition and the execution of this rare view. Well done! Kind regards, Vincent
