Wayne Sadler 609 Posted July 12, 2022 I felt for some time this image of the young lady standing by Pio Fedi’s statue, The Rape of Polyxena, in the loggia dei Lanzi in the piazza della Signoria in Florence, Italy was too suggestive to post. The woman, beautifully dressed, stood alone by this statue for some time as if waiting for someone - but no one came. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,613 Posted July 16, 2022 Perhaps, Wayne, the woman's standing in the shadows may account for her companion not picking her up. Most of your work is atmospheric, but I find this image has that quality to a much higher degree. - - My best always, michael Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 609 Posted July 18, 2022 Thanks, Michael. You are right. I thought this required more atmosphere than normal. Link to comment
