Wayne Sadler 609 Posted June 25, 2022 “The whole moon and the entire sky are reflected in one dewdrop on the grass” – Dogen. Zen adepts posit that everything exists everywhere. This is as difficult to wrap the head around as talk from physicist’s about a parallel universe or multiverse. However the hologram phenomenon can tempt one to suspend disbelief in this notion of parallel, multi existences. When a “holographic negative” is made of a thing/an object and a polarized light is shown through that holographic negative the thing/the object recorded is reproduced in space in 3 dimensional form. (It is fascinating to watch a deceased Whitney Houston performing on stage.) Even more amazing – if that holographic negative is cut into a hundred, a thousand or more pieces each one of those pieces no matter how tiny can produce the same 3 dimensional image. Somehow the thing/the object (e.g. an image of Whitney Houston) that has been recorded (exists) on every part of the holographic negative - maybe elsewhere too. Link to comment

Wayne Sadler 609 Posted June 29, 2022 Thanks, Pierre. You don't come by those multiverse images often. Link to comment
