Daniel, when I first started to take in this image, my first impression was to see it as the five interlocking rings of the Olympics. Then I woke up from my reverie. Your somewhat obvious close range to the subject when you clicked the shutter in what could be construed as the Gordian Knot. Moreover, although most of the frame's colors are monochrome, my attention was drawn to the very small area of brown shades, That's when I noticed that it seems to complement and to become a part of a piece of jewelry.
