Wayne Sadler 609 Posted February 4, 2022 “…not only are things not what they seem, they are not even what they are called” ---Francisco de Quevedo ----- At the time I wasn’t sure how to best treat this piece. It is deceptively suggestive, humorous and a genuine portrait of street life on the corner of Church St and 5th Ave in Nashville, Tenn. For a long while I censored the piece until this title presented itself Link to comment

Tony Long 28 Posted February 6, 2022 Wayne glad that it has emerged from digital limbo with a title. Fascinating scene takes me through abstract and surreal elements to the touching human story at its core. Love it!Tony Link to comment

DGorinstein 20 Posted February 8, 2022 Artistic and visually/graphically captivating. With all due respect, it is more a painting than a photograph. So sorry, I am a purist. DG Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 609 Posted February 8, 2022 Thanks, Daniel. No apology necessary. My two worlds merged long ago. Long ago I abandoned my photography and taught myself to paint. When I returned to photography, I saw differently. I see now as a painter first and as a photographer second. Link to comment
