"Holiness in Eden" - Garden of Eden, Arches National Park, Utah

This is my first prize-winning effort on pro slide film, having won

the (albeit somewhat parochial) Gilpin County Fair art show.

It's amazing what happens when a bit of snow falls overnight in the

desert. When the sun strikes, the snow sublimes into a nice ground

fog. Aligning the sun behind a hoodoo produced a striking halo effect.
