Todd Kraenzel 1 Posted December 24, 2021 I happened to photograph a mockingbird performing a common aerobatic maneuver with a burst of shots, so I decided to stitch them together. I am not sure the reason they do this, but I have seen them perform this maneuver many times. They go up and backwards, and then drop back down to their perch. The amazing thing to me is they gain so much height from one cycle of their wing beat. Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 498 Posted December 24, 2021 A beautiful sequence of the flight of this Mockingbird that has clearly highlighted the strange behavior of this bird, very beautiful the variation of the wingspan, ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment
