very nice portrait in a restaurant setting, where the blurred background clearly works for the image. I like how you shoot many of your images with vintage equipment and film and get results like this one, even if there are some dust spots that can easily be fixed (one of my OCD's). Grain, tones and contrast are great. Kind regards, Vincent

Vincent - Thanks. You're right about the dust spots, of course. My process is to scan, process in Photoshop, put the processed images into a library program, chose the best ones, and process them again in Photoshop. If I want a print my darkroom guy works from the digital version, and he spots out all the dust. Just for reference, it's actually CDO ("OCD" in alphabetical order, AS IT SHOULD BE!)

No Pierre, I'm OK, I just couldn't trust Photo.net after they were offline for a full week. There seem to be plenty of "Administrators" who don't serve any useful purpose, but no one to keep the site running. I post images in two places, Youpic and Instagram. I gave up on Youpic for a while to try pn again, and you are certainly charming, but the site is not worth my attention. Sorry.
