Brian Murphy 74 Posted June 21, 2021 All three of your fox kit photos are great. I really noticed the eyes in all of them. This one has a real intense stare. Thank you for sharing. Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted June 22, 2021 Brian...Thank you for looking in and for the kind note. These photos are of the same pup which was both curious and intensely monitoring my every move given this was our first encounter.A neighbour tells me that this is one of five pups plus their mom sheltered in the basement of this old abandoned house.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment

frigo 4,155 Posted June 22, 2021 Elaine...Thank you kindly! This is just a pup and its mother still does the mice hunt....so,you'd still be safe if you were a mouse!!!!!!!Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted June 22, 2021 Is he a constant visitor or is he just passing through. How close did he allow you to approach since he's apparently on high alert. Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted June 23, 2021 Jack...He, 4 siblings and their mom are holed up in the crawl space under an old house of mine.I found out when I ran across a fellow photographer on the spot trying to lure them out for a few shots after which I returned the next morning and ran into this one. After settling down and making sure not to scare him,I started to take a few shots, this one about20 ft away....and then, being careful not to establish eye contact by staying behind the camera,he got up and curious, started to walk towards me to about 10 ft all the time sniffing to establish this unfamiliar odour. He then turned around and walk back near the acces hole to his ''home''.I went back a few times since hoping to maybe get a group photo but ...nothing.I'll keep trying....maybe with some treats?Salutations_laurent Link to comment
