Jack McRitchie 150 Posted June 11, 2021 Really good one, Daniel. A pier bearing apparatus right out of Rube Goldberg - up and down, around and around, ending where you started. The waves look on with amusement. Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted June 13, 2021 Daniel...Bonjour cher ami!En voyant de tes images circuler sur PN,j'assume que tu as réussi a traverser la crise de COVID qui nous a tous affectés.This one was easily recognizable as yours where you have done justice to the imposing amusement installation going through a tumultous moment....much like us with the virus.Bravo pour cette image et mes salutations amicales-Laurent Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 609 Posted June 15, 2021 It now feels that any other placement of the pier would have missed. Perfectly designed and accented with the Gorinstein glow. Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted June 16, 2021 An emphatic and happy hello Alberto, Jack, Laurent, and Wayne. I feel regaled and highly rewarded by your comments and visits. It lets me know my work, or rather, this image resonates with each of you, maybe with a common underlining, but in more general terms, we somehow relate to as an icon that has withstood the passage of time, sort of an icon I'd dare say. Your comments always lift my spirits and at the same time humble me. I was lucky to be there when the wind was blowing pushing and shoving ominous clouds so the backlighting was a true photographic gift, threatening an early closing of the amusement for many locals. My personal best regards to each one of you. DG Link to comment
