You're right Bubba, it turned out well, clear, good lighting, the right angle. I might toy with the cropping, if it were tightly around the dog itself you would start working with the negative space more. The dark/light line of the grass intersects the frame nicely and the tree trunks coming in from the top also add when they usually detract.
