A sunny but windy day in March. This blue tit was munching away on these willow catkins, which seems to be a real treat for this species; I've seen many of them eating the seeds in an an almost frantic manner. This was the best shot I could get through the branches. I like the seeds flying away above the head of the bird, something I didn't notice until I viewed the images I made that day. I know there are more blue tit fans among us, so this one's for them. Your comments are very welcome.

Bravo Vincent, perfect timing, the seeds fluttering on his head demonstrate the voracity of this beautiful little bird, not so common in my region , ciao Giangiorgio

Hi Giangiorgio,

thank you for your generous comments! I always like the data in your comments about the occurrence of bird species on Sardinia; I would never have guessed the blue tit would be 'not so common' there. Kind regards, Vincent

A really good shot of a Blue tit in action. I do like the sharpness and the bokeh. Regards, Arthur.
