fredericpascual 0 Posted December 16, 2003 You choose a very difficult field and background. The green is always difficult to catch. Amazing shadow for a Non manipulated. Good Link to comment
mike werkhoven 0 Posted December 16, 2003 yes frederic, those greens are indeed difficult, specialy in the late afternoon summer light, heavy yellow orange works like a filter, its the contrast of green. With The shadow i was very happy, really tall. in photoshop i selected my shadow and made it a little darker. see you in full color frederic. mike Link to comment
maria_s. 1 Posted December 17, 2003 Hey, I see this one as most succesful of the three precisely because of the complementing lines of the field and pretty awesome light here. I was thinking if that would work better in B&W but I sort of like these washed out colors. And it looks as if you were having lotsa of fun doing it. Link to comment
mike werkhoven 0 Posted December 18, 2003 yes maria children like to play with there own shadow ;~) mike Link to comment

Take your time : its only April I think maar als de zon even hoog als op jouw foto staat dan moet het toch kunnen) Link to comment
Groetjes, mike. Link to comment
nikos 0 Posted October 22, 2004 Stunning! Thousands have tried to make a decent photo out of the same fundamental idea and failed. Yours is clever, striking, sublime! Link to comment

nikos 0 Posted October 23, 2004 Really this is a great photo. If you look around my comments and ratings, you'll notice I don't hand out random praise in all directions. This photo stands out from the norm. But of course, my heart lies with your other photo, 'teaching about art' which is in all honesty one of the best photos I have seen in photo.net in many years. Don't be put off by the response or lack thereof to this photo - after all such things are matters of taste to a great extent. And it seems that we share a lot in this department.. the photo you mention from my portfolio is the one I'd pick as my best photo, too. Link to comment
