larry_korhank 0 Posted March 3, 2021 Now that’s a CLOSE UP! It’s nice to see the detail in the fur, which seems to disappear on all my more distant shots. The ones around here head for their hole when seen. How did you get so close? I can’t believe people use these cute furry critters for target practice. BTW, I saw one yesterday for the first time since winter began. Link to comment
igla 25 Posted March 3, 2021 I have one that comes and visit my backyard. This one made its appearance in botanical garden. People got around it and offer food. It was not scared of us. I was maybe 4 feet away. I got another shot even closer, no cropping. Link to comment

larry_korhank 0 Posted March 3, 2021 They seem tame/shy enough, but I saw video of one that was trapped. It would have scarred a Tasmanian Devil. Given the chance, it’s new name would be Fingerchuck. Link to comment

Brian Murphy 73 Posted March 3, 2021 What a great shot. Great detail. The groundhogs by me are pretty shy, then again I have a dog. It would be so nice to do this. He/she obviously trusts the person feeding him/her. Link to comment
igla 25 Posted March 4, 2021 Thanks Brian. It just got out from the bushes to the open area and started to interact with us. Link to comment
