vincentoiseau 83 Posted December 15, 2020 'Lou tems passo, passo lou ben'. The Occitan text on the clock tower (la tour de l'Horloge) in Dieulefit, southern France, tells us to pay attention to the fact that time passes and it's important to spend your time well. That may seem easy enough when you spend days in southern France vacationing, but a lot harder when you're working at home for months during lockdown. Your comments are very welcome. Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 496 Posted December 16, 2020 A very nice image of this ancient clock tower, good sepia toning. The motto in Occitan language is certainly, as usual, associated with the sundial, placed above the clock. Always very interesting your accompanying notes, ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment
