A line in the sand

Very interesting and commendable composition, debunking the perfunctory comments of purists or beginners that criticize avoiding the trite "rule of thirds". Rules must be broken when you can split the image without splitting it, while at the same time presenting the human figure on the edge. The natural curves in the sand delight me much. Well done. DG
