Apart from the fact that this is an extraordinary shot, what I really like here is the contrast between the sharpness of the lightning blot & the softness of the clouds. It makes for a really stunning contrast. The city lights also complement the lightning bolt... This is one of those 1 in 100,000 shots! - Aina
