michaellinder 16,612 Posted August 26, 2020 Let's see. The water is so calm it's akin to a pane of colored glass. If not for being able to see a hint of piling, I'd think that the dock is supported only by that pane of glass. Holger, this image is so atmospheric that any further words would be useless. - - My best always, michael Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted August 26, 2020 Hi Michael, Thank you for the kind words on this image. That reflection and dock are what drew me to this spot. Thanks again. See you soon.Holger Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted August 26, 2020 Hi Holger, a wide-angle view of your stay at this lake that tells about the whole story: the lake with its wonderful reflections, the dock that you most likely sat on in the evenings (probably with lots of mosquito repellent), the rowing boat you may have used to get out on the lake and the wooden house you slept in. It's a very nice holiday shot, showing so many essential details of your trip. I would suggest however to remove the blue 'thing' on the right, as it really distracts from the beauty of the scene. The tripod standing between the chairs on the dock gives away there's a photographer staying here; was that intentional? Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted August 27, 2020 Hello Vincent and thank you for your insightful and much appreciated comment. I see what you mean about those blue kayaks. I took quite a few shots from that tripod on the dock, well observed. see you soon. Holger Link to comment
