If ever a mind actually could be photographed, ZT, this one is a paradigm case. A shadow cast on a wall certainly belongs in the same conceptual arena as the human mind. I for one do not equate what goes on in the mind with what goes on in the brain. This image is well conceived and excellently executed with bold contrast and colors, and also visible texture. I'm especially taken by the dark vertical that almost disappears in the brightest area. - - My best, michael - --- PS I do appreciate the various images of mine that you have viewed and admired. However, what I always appreciate comments that describe what I've gotten right and also what I've gotten wrong.

Michael,

Thank You for your visit and analysis of the photo.

One of the best on PN( I repeat that so many times).

As of your photos I like your photographic style. That specific style or the way you see and photograph things around you is sometimes more important than being 100%

right, flawless etc...according to what we have learned from

Photography books. So every photo I analyse my own way,

A lot of work even here on PN is soulless. But don't get me wrong .....PN serves its purpose for a lot of photographers on different skill levels. Basic photography composition rules are important, but photo without a clear message isn't that significant. Now I just started to talk about different genres, and everything what I said doesn't apply to specific

group of photos.

Michael, I'm gonna try to be more specific commenting your work, which I'm a big fan of.

Regards,

ZT,

Hi ZT,

I fully agree with Michael here. In photography, a mind could be expressed by a shadow, as you have shown here. The way the human part of this colorful abstract is framed within the image is really astonishing, as are the colors that seem to drip from the mind like liquid thoughts. Kind regards, Vincent
