gregverena 343 Posted January 16, 2020 nice flow here- snow as water over the log in a creek- are those houses associated with the light house, or do they just appear so from this angle? Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted January 16, 2020 Greg & Verena,,,Anything sticking over the suface acts as a wind-breaker and will create some nice aero slivers as here. The building on the left is a restaurant re-creating the lightkeeper's house and the right one is a souvenir shop mocking the barn both of which were in service when the lighthouse needed permanent attention. Both of these grew since I moved in this area and I was somewhat/very unhappy with their location as they cut in on the great clear view on the lighthouse formerly available from a distance, both from the access road as from the beach....pity!Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
Guest7435 0 Posted January 16, 2020 This photo has a lot of depth with the log in the foreground and the lighthouse in the background. well done Laurent. Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted January 16, 2020 Joh...Thank you kindly. This driftwood is a welcome artifact on an otherwise baron/flat surface to anchor the scene and I am glad you like how it worked out.I am sure I will use this again this winter...at least until it is totally covered with snow.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
