peter_daalder 0 Posted December 1, 2003 You have captured a great atmospheric scene, with rather beautiful low sunlight. One aspect that I enjoy in particular, is the smoke from that industrial complex going straight up in the air. This proves that it must have been a very still morning (either morning or evening, I guess). The neat 'layered' lines of trees and other objects (I can see a crane), gives this image a wonderful sense of depth. Cannot make any suggestions to have improved on this - it is very good in my eyes... Link to comment
michele_perone 0 Posted December 1, 2003 Spero che si tratti di un montaggio. Altrimenti, sono messi male a Padova! Link to comment

steven_russell 0 Posted December 2, 2003 A beautiful layered landscape. The smoke from the industrial building adds to the appeal.I also like how this building stands out as being darker than the soft colours of the surrounding land and mist. Excellent! Link to comment
maxhaynes 0 Posted December 3, 2003 Nice job Guido, the only suggestions I would have would be to straighten the horizon so the smoke is rising straight up and a little crop off the left and bottom. The left seems to drift off a bit and weigh down that side just a tich and the bottom negative space seems like it would be more pleasing if the curve of the trees interacted with the bottom of the frame a little more, not much off the bottom, just enough to get the interaction going a bit more. This is all subjective of course, just something for you to ponder. Link to comment
jacoangeli 0 Posted December 3, 2003 Nice, seems to me, with this old industry, a "post atomic", surreal landscape :) Link to comment
alexandru_axon 1 Posted December 6, 2003 This is great...A beautiful landscape photo, altough it looks like an after-war scene. :) Link to comment
lauria_grant2 0 Posted June 17, 2022 Fascinating composition! I like how the fog/mist, by subduing the entire landscape, enables the main subject to be emphasized. Link to comment
